This is generally the best place to start your day's birding. A trail starts here and runs around the east side of Lake Law which is visible to the south of the barn. This trail will take you through some of the best birding habitat on site. To reach the barn from the main entrance continue east on Pine St. past the turn-off to Wilson Hall at which point the road name changes to Road D. Road D will take you past the Bison Field to the intersection of Batavia Rd. and Eola Rd. which is marked with stop signs and a red flashing light. Continuing east on Batavia Rd. the road will eventually come to a stop sign in a small built up area known as the village. The Red Barn, which is just south of the stop sign, has a small parking lot beside it.
