ISOcxx (v0.1)
Alpha release of the ISOcxx Portability package.
September 29, 1999:
HepTuple (v1.5.3)
HepTuple Hbook is split off into its own library.
New ZMtools content:
Augmented Exceptions.
This has classes to allow the user to define ZMexceptions that coorinatewith
the
ErrorLogger package to get its routing, filtering, and statistics features.
July 8, 1999:
ISOcxx Portability package.
This is a package to detect and incorporate fixes to C++ platforms to account
for environments that do not comply with the ISO C++ language and library
standard. Each defect (area of non-compliance) is defined by test programs,
and compliance code to address these defects is provided. Wherever possible,
the defect is addressed by providing a remedy which is activated implicitly;
transparently to the user, the remedy causes code written to the C++ standard
to behave in the proper compliant manner.
A "Phase I" release, dealing with all the defects currently dealt with in
ZOOM and RunII code, is being prepared for the near future.
