Introduction

This document is the User's Guide for SoftRelTools (SRT). It is meant to give an overview of the SRT environment and commands from a code developers point of view. Code librarians should refer to the SRT Reference Manual for more detailed explanation of the SRT configuration parameters and commands.

SRT is very flexible in the style in which it allows developers to operate. This flexibility presents a difficulty in writing a general purpose "how to" User's Guide because each librarian has imposed a cycle that is most appropriate for that particular release and a naming convention that best suits the cycle. Users should refer to the specific instructions for a given release for the naming conventions and the development cycle.
