Tape names can be nearly anything, although if the name contains spaces, tabs, etc. it may be neccesary to put double quotes around the tape name, which may have to be escaped to keep the UNIX shell programs from stripping the quotes; i.e.
juke load '"my tape"'
Note: naming a tape "(empty)" will cause lots of confusion.
