How to Register You Laptop
1. Turn on your laptop and connect to the wireless
network choosing from the following:

In
Building 362 use wireless networks ArgonneG-guest (for
b/g wireless cards) or ArgonneA-guest (for a wireless
cards).

In Building 360
use wireless network 360G-guest or 360A-guest
2. If you have not already done so, configure your laptop
to obtain an IP address automatically via DHCP. Refer to the Guide Sheet if you
need detailed configuration instructions.
3. Open a web browser. If the security page does not come
up, open a bogus web site such as www.fluffybunny.com.
4. Click "I agree" on the security page. You
should be presented with a registration page.
5. Fill in the registration information. If you are an
ANL employee, enter "self" in the last box requesting an ANL contact
if you are a visitor enter Sandy Klepec at 630-252-6270 as the ANL contact.
6. Wait up to 1 minute for the registration information
to be uploaded to the server and then you should be able to connect to the internet
via your browser.
Connecting to Printers
NOTE: Printing from the wireless network is only available in Building
362 using the ArgonneG-guest or ArgonneA-guest networks.
To connect to printers from the wireless networks in Building 362 go to

To print in Building 360 there is
a printer available in room A216 with a cable to connect to a laptop
computer.
