Who We Are
The Fermilab Legal Office provides legal support to Laboratory management and staff concerning all aspects of Laboratory operations.
The Legal Office provides advice and counsel, performs reviews for legal sufficiency, assists in the drafting of agreements and other documents, and where necessary represents the Laboratory's interests in such areas as procurement, environmental compliance, intellectual property, labor and personnel matters, use of the Laboratory site, and claims by and against the Laboratory.
The Legal Office also oversees the use of outside counsel for specialized legal support and for representation of the Laboratory in litigation.
