Jameson Eisenmenger is an attorney for Fermi Research Alliance, LLC (FRA), working at Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois. Jameson is an in-house corporate generalist providing counsel in the areas of contract award and administration, litigation, environmental law, international agreements, technology transfer, ethics and export control.
Jameson has substantial experience in the award and administration of Department of Energy management and operating contracts. While working with the Department of Energy’s Chicago Office, he participated in the award of M&O contracts for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. He also has significant experience in competition and selection of complex federal financial assistance awards, having served as Department of Energy counsel to the GTL1: Genomes to Life BioEnergy Research Centers program awarded in 2007.
Jameson has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, the Armed Services and Department of Energy Boards of Contract Appeals, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Additionally, Jameson served as the Alternative Dispute Resolution specialist and District Labor Advisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District.
Jameson is a frequent presenter to both in-house clients and external associations. He has provided training to the Department of the Army’s Civilian Human Resources Agency, the Society of American Military Engineers, the Department of Energy Contract Attorney’s Association, and is an annual judge of local high school mock trial competitions.
Jameson earned the Army Achievement Medal in 1997 as an enlisted member of the Illinois Army National Guard. In 2003, he received the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Commander’s Coin for outstanding representation in litigation. In 2008, he received the Department of Energy’s Deputy General Counsel for Technology Transfer and Procurement Award for Legal Excellence. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, graduating cum laude, and is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.
